DAY 8 Portland, OR

Today was Scott's Birthday. Happy Birthday scott!

2 Hour drive turned into 4. That's okay, I listened to some good jams and read the Seattle Stranger. It's one of those weekly city publications, like Oklahoma City's Gazette. Except with like 8 full pages of creepy sex ads and escort service ads. totally weird. When we got to the Loveland (formerly the Meow Meow) we loaded in and then Sammy, jude and immediately headed to find the American Apparrel store across the river. we walked for about 5 miles, and it was amazing. we had to walk across the river on a highway, it was absolutely terrifying. i seriously almost didn't make it. there were several times that i had to restrain myself from grabbing Sammy's hand. But i made it. Bought a V neck. Walked back. I made it. I am a macho man.

the show was fun. the whole place smelled like B. O. pretty nast. but still fun.

Now we're at one of Sammy's friend's house. Actually, it's a mansion. crazy. Totally laguna beach times blondethousand. Be Nice. Be nice. We've got a ten hour drive to do tomorrow, it's going to be rough. i think Jude and I are going to watch the first 11 episodes of season 2 of lost, that will kill a little time.

We're watching Big Lebowski. Watched it last night too. So good. Loving life!
